Logo Vectorisation

Your Printer Just Asked for a Vector Logo. You Only Have a JPEG.

Pens, bags, embroidery, signage, vehicle livery — every print supplier asks for the same thing: "AI, EPS or PDF, scalable vector". If you only have a JPEG or PNG, you cannot give them what they need. We rebuild your logo as a true vector pack so you can.

You Know This Problem

Your printer has come back to you. They need the logo as a scalable vector — AI, EPS or PDF. You search your files. All you have is a JPEG or PNG. The original Illustrator file is gone, the designer who made it has moved on, or it was never given to you in the first place.

You try sending the high-resolution PNG. The printer says no, that is still raster, the edges will not stay sharp on a pen barrel or a small embroidery patch.

You try a free online vectoriser. The result is wobbly, the wordmark turns into ragged outlined paths instead of typeset text, and the colours flatten badly.

You ask a branding agency. They quote £300 to £500 and four working days.

Meanwhile, the print run is on hold and the deadline is shrinking.

Four Ways to Vectorise. Only One Is Printer Grade.

Same source logo, four different methods. The print supplier judges the result.

Auto-trace Auto-traced logo: blocky, jagged edges

Auto-trace tools

Wobbly outlines, the wordmark becomes jagged paths instead of typeset text.

Cheap online Online vectoriser output: soft and unfaithful

Cheap online services

$20 on Fiverr. Soft edges, unfaithful colours, no variants, no brand reference.

Adobe trace Adobe Image Trace: flat colours, missed detail

Adobe Image Trace

Flattens colour gradients, misses spot colours, needs manual cleanup. No printer pack.

Reconstructed SSC Brain reconstruction: crisp, faithful, branded

SSC Brain reconstruction

Wordmark rebuilt from the actual font. Mark traced per colour. Variants and brand reference included.

One Vector. Every Print Size.

This is the actual case study from one of our packs. Same vector files, scaled from A4 letterhead down to 5mm watermark. No quality loss at any size, because there is no resolution to lose.

The same vector logo rendered at multiple print sizes from A4 down to 5mm with no quality loss

Generated from a single SVG. Print this on a pen barrel or a vehicle wrap — both stay sharp.

What You Get

A complete printer-ready pack, not just one file. Everything we send Christian's printer for our own logo, we send for yours.

True Vector, Three Formats

SVG, PDF and EPS. Every print supplier accepts these. Text is converted to outlines so the printer does not need to install your font.

Five Colour Variants

Master full colour, single colour black, single colour brand tone, reverse white for dark backgrounds, and outline only for embroidery and engraving.

Mark + Full Lockup

The full logo for letterheads and bags, plus the mark on its own for pen barrels, favicons and embroidery patches where the wordmark would be illegible.

Brand Colour Reference

A README with your colours in Hex, Pantone (approximate match) and CMYK. The printer has everything they need in one document.

Editable Forever

Open the SVG in Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Inkscape or any modern browser. Recolour, resize, separate spot channels — it is your file, properly engineered.

Same-Day Turnaround

Single logos sent before 2pm are returned the same day. No rush fee. Standard turnaround on multi-logo jobs is 24 hours.

How It Works

1

Send Us Your Logo

Email or WeTransfer the highest resolution version you have. JPEG, PNG, even a screenshot is fine. Tell us your brand colours if you know them.

2

We Rebuild It

Wordmark reconstructed from the actual font. Mark traced per colour layer. Five colour variants generated. Brand reference compiled.

3

Send Straight to the Printer

Receive a single zip with everything inside. Forward it to your print supplier. They will know exactly which file to use for which job.

Questions

What file formats do you deliver?
SVG, PDF and EPS — the three formats every print supplier accepts. Text is converted to outlines so the printer does not need to install fonts. SVG is editable in Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Inkscape and any modern browser.
Do you provide colour variants?
Yes, included as standard. Every logo comes with full colour, single colour black, single colour brand tone, reverse white (for dark backgrounds), and outline only (for embroidery and engraving). Five variants in three formats — fifteen files per logo.
How quickly do you turn work around?
Same-day for a single logo if requested before 2pm. Standard turnaround is 24 hours. We do not charge a rush fee.
What if I only have a tiny logo file?
Even better — vector reconstruction is not bound by source resolution. We rebuild your logo from scratch using your brand fonts and shapes, not by tracing pixels. The output is the same crispness whether you give us a 200x200 thumbnail or a 4000x4000 master.
Can you match Pantone or specific brand colours?
Yes. Tell us your brand colour spec (Pantone, hex, or CMYK) and we match it exactly. The README inside each pack lists the colours in all three systems for the printer.
What if I do not know what my brand colours are?
We sample them from your existing logo and provide the closest Pantone match alongside the exact hex and CMYK values. You leave with a complete brand colour reference even if you did not have one before.
Is this just an auto-trace?
No. Auto-trace tools (Adobe Image Trace, online vectorisers) produce wobbly approximations of your logo. We rebuild the wordmark from the actual font and trace the mark per colour layer. The result is faithful, editable, and printer-grade.
Can the printer use the files directly?
Yes. The pack includes a README with the brand colour reference and a printer checklist explaining which variant to use for which application (pens, bags, embroidery, signage). Most printers can begin work immediately on receipt.
Do you keep my logo on file?
We keep your files for 90 days in case you need additional variants or the printer asks for something we did not anticipate. After 90 days the files are deleted unless you have asked us to retain them. We do not use your logo for any other purpose.
